30 Days of Praying for your Husband; Day 1

With June hosting Father’s Day, I thought it would be a perfect time to have 30 days of praying for our husbands.

I heard a staggering statistic the other day of strongholds that men tend to deal with.  It really opened my eyes to how different men think, and how different their struggles are.  I wanted to take a look at our husband’s lives, and pray for every aspect of their walk.

Today is Day 1, and we are going to pray for our husband’s walk.

If your husband doesn’t have a walk with the Lord yet, that’s what we will pray for, his salvation.  If he does walk with the Lord, we will pray for his walk to be strengthened, that he would be led by the Holy Spirit, that his decisions would be led by God’s will, that he would walk uprightly and worthy of his calling.  Pray that he would not veer off the path of righteousness, he would be eternally minded, and would have faith in God’s word.  Pray he would be quick to repent, slow to anger, full of mercy, and rich in love.  Pray his walk would be a witness to those he meets and an example to those he leads.
