Day 10: Pray for Your Husband’s Fears

We like to think of our husbands as fearless, but they indeed do have fears just like you and I….fear of change, loss of a job, retirement, their health, the economy, providing, the “what ifs,” etc..  These can be tormenting at times, so pray for your husband in this area.   Pray against the spirit of fear in your husband, but power, love, and a strong mind.  Pray that he would seek the Lord for those overwhelming thoughts and fears, and they wouldn’t sway his decision making.  Pray that as he seeks more of God’s word, that he would have a better understanding of who God is, His love for him, and a diminishing of fear by trusting in Him alone.  Pray that the only fear your husband would have is fear of the Lord, and he would walk in truth.  Pray that he would be delivered from any fear strongholds in his life.  Pray that he would find security and comfort through the Lord alone.
