Day 16: Pray for your husband’s integrity

Pray for your husband to be a man of integrity, honesty, and truly trustworthy at all times.  Pray for genuineness in his life, in your marriage, with his children, and those around him.  Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide him and his decisions.  Pray he would be led by the Holy Spirit and not emotions.  Pray for humbleness for those situations that may be challenging.  Pray that he stand strong in his faith regardless of the situation.  Pray against compromise, and for strength from the Lord.  Pray for him to be secure in the Lord alone.  Pray his integrity would be an encouragement to others and a legacy to your children.  Pray he would choose the right and honest path regardless of any negativity that may come his way.  Pray he would get clear direction from the Lord, and any doubts would disappear.  Pray his integrity would not change no matter who is around, or if he is alone.  Pray he would stand firm no matter what.  Pray that his “Yes” would be “Yes” and his “No” would be “No.”  Pray for him to have wisdom in making decisions and in tough situations.  Pray that he would live by God’s Word alone, and any other influence would be left by the wayside.

The integrity of the upright will guide them, But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.”     Proverbs 11:3

The LORD shall judge the peoples; Judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, And according to my integrity within me.”          Psalm 7:8

Vindicate me, O LORD, For I have walked in my integrity.  I have also trusted in the LORD;  I shall not slip.”             Psalm 26:1

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
