30 Days of Praying for Your Husband: Day 23 Pray for His Finances

30 Days of Praying for Your Husband: Day 1-22

Day 23: Pray for Your Husband’s Finances

Praying for your husband’s finances can be difficult, but it’s as necessary as all the others we have prayed.  Pray that your husband would be able to provide for your family, and he wouldn’t get overwhelmed with that pressing task.  Pray that he would be wise with what he has and how he spends it, and a good steward over it.  Pray that he would be a cheerful giver.  Pray that he would be careful with getting in debt, and all his decisions would be prayerfully made.  Pray that he would look to the Lord for his needs being met, and not on money.  Pray that he would be content with what he has, and wouldn’t desire more and more.  Pray that the Lord would cover your finances and would work out your needs.  Pray that your husband wouldn’t get bitter or weary in his working hard to make ends meet.  Pray for endurance at his job, and a heart that glorifies the Lord.  Pray that you and your husband would agree on where your finances would be spent.  Pray against division in your marriage over finances.  Pray that every decision with your finances will be lead by the Lord on not on yourselves.
