Praying for Your Husband: Day 27 Pray for His Prayer Time

Pray that your husband would set aside time to pray.  Pray that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit and would be led by God alone. Pray that he would take everything to the Lord for direction.  Pray that your husband would listen to what God is showing him.  Pray that he would submit his whole life to prayer.  Pray that the Lord would show your husband his wrongs, and your husband would be quick to repent.  Pray that his prayer life would be fruitful.  Pray that your husband would also set aside time to pray with you as a couple.  Pray for the Lord to show you any way you can encourage your husband.

“Prayer is a shield to the soul, a sacrifice to God, and a scourge for Satan.”   ~ John Bunyan

“The fewer the words the better prayer.”    ~ Martin Luther

“Prayer is not monologue, but dialogue. Gods voice in response to mine is its most essential part.”   ~ Andrew Murray

“Then they cry out to the LORD in their trouble, And He brings them out of their distresses.  He calms the storm, So that its waves are still.”         Psalm 107:28-29

“So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”      Mark 9:29

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”      James 5:14-16

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”       Matthew 7:7

“praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.”     Ephesians 6:18

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”     Philippians 4:6-7
