Day 5: Pray for your husband’s purpose

Each of our husbands are unique and have a special purpose and calling in life.  Each has different qualities and gifts to be utilized.  Pray that God would reveal your husband’s calling and God’s will for his life.  Pray for contentment and fulfillment in God’s plan and purpose for your husband.  Pray that he would honor and glorify God alone in his purpose in life.  Pray for your contentment, as well, with your husband’s calling.  Pray that your husband’s daily actions would line up with God’s plan, and he wouldn’t be led astray.  If your husband isn’t in the Lord’s will or purpose for his life, pray that the Lord would open doors and make His will evident.  Pray that you would be a support and not stumble the Lord’s plan for his life.  Pray that your husband wouldn’t get discouraged in his walk and purpose.  Pray God would grant the strength to endure the trials, and the patience for God’s perfect timing.  If your husband is not walking according to the Lord’s will, pray for repentance, and a work of the Holy Spirit in his life.  Pray that he would be anointed by the Holy Spirit to use their gifts according to God’s will.  Pray against confusion of God’s will.  God is not an author of confusion, but of peace.  Pray against self-deprecation, but for full submission to the Lord.  Pray that no matter where your husband is in his calling, that he would give all the glory to God.
