Day 7: Pray for your husband’s protection

Our husband’s are on the battlefield everyday, and need prayer as soon as they step out of bed.  The enemy is out to seek and destroy so pray daily for your husband’s protection.  Pray that your husband would trust the Lord for protection as he goes about his day.  Pray that he would trust God to be his Defender, Deliverer, his Cover, his Preserver, his Shelter, and Protector.  Pray that the Lord would be his refuge, and place to turn in times of trouble.  Pray for your husband’s protection at work, in the car, and during anything he may be doing.  Pray that when a trial does come that your husband would be thankful for the Lord walking him through it.  Pray for protection against influences that may arise in your husband’s life.  Pray for a filling of the Holy Spirit to be able to recognize and deny these temptations and influences.  Pray that if he does falter that he would be quick to repent.  Pray for protection, wisdom, and direction so that he may not wander off God’s path for his life.  Pray that he would not put confidence in himself, but for the faith to trust the Lord.  Pray for the full armor of God for your husband daily.
