Day 9: Pray for your husband’s trials

We all go through trials.  It’s just part of life.  Pray for your husband to trust God for strength to endure his trials.  Pray against fear, bitterness, and anger while he goes through these trials.  Pray that he would seek and praise God as he experiences refining of his heart.  Pray that he would have a positive attitude, a peace, and hope as he endures through trials.  Pray that he wouldn’t get discouraged, and that he would depend on God and not himself or man as he faces trials.  Pray that his actions would be a testimony  to others and a legacy to his children.  Pray that he would not come out of his trials battered and beaten down, but spiritually strong and glorifying God.  Pray that he would have a deeper knowledge and understanding of who God is, and a greater faith.  Pray for a filling of the Holy Spirit, and that he would be led by God alone.  Pray that you, as his wife, would be an encouragement through his trials.  Pray through the verses below for your husband.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”          Romans 8:28

Cast your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.”       Psalm 55:22
