Food for thought..God’s not dead

gods not dead

I am just a little behind, as usual, but hey! Last night I was finally able to sit down and watch “God’s not dead”. It was very good. I have stumbled across people in my travels who do not believe in God or have a very wide view or stance of the divine but I honestly have not come across someone so cold to the gospel as that professor. I know they are out there and that this is a very real struggle on our campuses. It made me wonder,…what if we had more students who were willing to stand up and pick up their sword for the sake of the gospel? I read in my email today how children were beheaded by ISIS. These children refused to deny Christ. Would you? Could you do as they did?

We love our lives and comforts far too much here in America to risk trouble. It’s time we rise. As I watched the movie and the Chinese boy stood up along with other students I found myself standing up in their midst though I was at my house. I don’t know about you but I am tired of seeing the footprint of the enemy all around this world. Where are the footprints of the Christians?

If the devil can keep us bound and insecure than he doesn’t have to worry about us being any real threat. Wake up Christian to the value that God has placed on you. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” We make it a lot harder than it needs to be. Our pride, unbelief, fear and anger can hold us back from accepting God for who He is. Reject that lie! Remember the devil is a liar and the father of lies!
